“Do you really want to do this? You don’t even know how to swim!” said my friend, with a nervous smile.

“As they say, you only live once.” I said. “I’d rather live how I want than let fear keep me from living.”

Minutes later we were speeding through the Pacific Ocean on jet skis and having the time of our lives.

This is just one of many amazing experiences I have had during my travels. So far each trip has been legendary and the most incredible part is that I took all of my trips on a broke college student budget.

The best time to see the world is through young eyes.

Even when I’m old I will still travel but there are six reasons why traveling young is incredible.

Freedom. Right now you probably don’t have too many responsibilities so you are free to do what you want. You probably don’t have kids at this point in life so can take more risks than someone who does. You can go where you want, date who you want, and have reckless amounts of fun.

Amazing Stories. The memories that are made on the road are probably the ones that you will cherish the most. You are more likely to experience something new or wild that changes your life. Whenever I get together with my friends we always end up talking about the crazy times we had during one of our legendary trips. I think the most addicting part of traveling for us is to see who can come back with the best story. When you travel you will always have great stories to share and conversations will never be boring because of you.
