Welcome to our blog! We’re excited to share, learn and grow with you! Our theme is Live Young. Live Well. Live Now. Today I will explain what that phrase means to us and give you 3 suggestions to begin to Live Young, Live Well, and Live Now!

Live Young

Curious, adventurous and lighthearted are all words that characterize young people. Living young isn’t about the number of years you’ve been alive. Living young is about the spirit with which you live those years! Let us all vow to grow in knowledge, experience and wisdom, but keep the heart and spirit of a child!

Live Well

Living well is about believing you deserve the best. It starts with loving your self enough to take good care of yourself! That means eating better, getting consistent exercise and surrounding your self with positive people. Notice we say live well, not live good. John C. Maxwell touts, “The difference between the ordinary and the extraordinary is the extra.” Living well means pushing yourself past good, so that you can be great!

Live Now

“Live today as if there were no tomorrow. And if you wake up tomorrow, live like there was no yesterday.”

–Lupe Fiasco

That’s the essence of live now. Many times we’re bogged down with guilt about the past or fearful of the future. Life only exists in the present. And if you’re not thinking, enjoying and living in the present, then you’re wasting precious time (that you can’t get back!) Embrace the present. Know that you have been specially equipped the skills, gifts, talents, and abilities to weather any storm, and to make a great impact in the world! The time is now!

So here are 3 things you can do today to Live Young, Live Well and Live Now:

1. Take 10 minutes out to play. You make time for meetings and busy work. Invest in your happiness today and spend some time having fun!

2. Take an inventory of your friends. Ask yourself, “Do these people add or multiply positive things to my life?” If not, resolve to subtract them from your life.

3. Listen to your thoughts. When you hear yourself begin to drift into “mental movies” where you replay past shortcomings, or fret about the future, Gently remind yourself to enjoy the present moment. Close your eyes, take a deep breath and center your thoughts back on being present.

There you have it! That’s how you Live Young, Live Well, and Live Now! Now there ain’t nothin’ to it but to do it! Let’s go!!!

Yess! I love the new blog. I feel like this is a blog I can reference each day to remind me that life is about the here and now. It also encourages me to be aware of my habit of looking into the past so much. Thank you!!

I truly understand what is being said. I agree completly. There’s just many times where you may just need a slight push to get you back on track. With many things coming up where you may not have any control of you become overwhelmed. That is when you do need a friend to be there and help you through this stormy weather you may be feeling inside. But, I myself appreciate that there are young people trying to make a change in other young people’s lives. So i applaud…..

I applaud you for coming up with an exciting tag line capturing a great attitude and philosophy toward living! I agree with you!

One of the things I like best about your message and action plan is its simplicity.

As I was thinking about your blog, it made me reflect upon my experience that living well also means “paying it forward”…helping others as others have helped you and that laughter and humor are integral to living well, finding your balance and staying centered.

Having met you and Aaron, I know that these are qualities I admire in you both and are keys to success AND happiness.

Thank you and keep on doing what you do…putting forth your effort and passion toward inspiring me and others.
